A fire tore through a two-story office supply building near Pico Boulevard in downtown Los Angeles early Sunday, May 10, collapsing the roof, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters were called at 3:58 a.m. to 1225 S. Hope St. Crews first went inside to attack the flames and search for anyone trapped, but were ordered out and switched to fighting the fire from outside.
